Disability equality legislation has changed significantly in recent years, concerning access to the built environment. Buildings are now required to be fully inclusive, in the sense of embracing all people irrespective of age, gender or abilities. In addition there are enhanced regulations and requirements for public buildings to adhere to.
Access advice is included as standard in the DBL Approved Inspector service, so there is no need to appoint a third party to address it as a separate issue, we take care of everything.
All of our staff are experienced in assessing buildings to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation relating to accessibility. We are experts in the provision of specialist measures to ensure no sectors of the community are prevented from entering and using buildings independently.
In addition, should you need advice on the suitability of current building access provisions, or assistance in developing a programme of improvements, our staff will be able to assist you.
